The current “Building Culture Report 2022/23” is a time machine. On the one hand a homage to the past, on the other hand an appeal to the present, but basically pure futurism. Created by the Bundesstiftung Baukultur, the brilliantly convincing report promotes a “new conversion culture” that offers a lot of the old: “For economic and ecological reasons, the focus of politics, administration, the building industry and the public must shift from new construction to conversion.”
