German director Kilian Riedhof will celebrate the world premiere of his film “You won’t get my hatred” in August at the Locarno Film Festival. The French-language drama, shot in Paris, tells the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on the Bataclan concert hall in 2015 – based on the book by French journalist Antoine Leiris, who lost his wife in the terrorist attack and had to cope with the loss of his mother with his young son .

He is played by Pierre Deladonchamps. Komplizen Film, the company of director Maren Ade (“Toni Erdmann”), produced the film. Riedhof has already directed films about the Gladbeck hostage-taking and the death of Schleswig-Holstein’s Prime Minister Uwe Barschel.
