The FC Bayern basketball team won their first home game in the Euroleague after winning the cup 87-80 against Red Star Belgrade. Thanks to a catch-up race worth seeing in the last quarter, they improved to 14th place in the table. Despite their tenth win, the chances of making the playoffs with 16 losses and eight games left are more of a theoretical nature. Bayern led 41:38 at the break, in the last quarter Belgrade looked like the sure winner with a 66:75, but Bayern came back with a 14:0 run in the sold-out Audi Dome. The best throwers were Vladimir Lucic and Cassius Winston with 20 points each.
