Bargaining round in the metal and electrical industry threatens to escalate – economy

“Provoked”, “pissed off”, “pissed off” – anyone who has talks to the top heads of IG Metall these days is met with a harsh tone. Not all of it should be quoted, the atmosphere between trade unionists and employers should not be further damaged. What can be said clearly, however, is that it is more uncertain than ever whether the collective bargaining round for the almost four million employees in the metal and electrical industry will end well before Christmas, as both sides actually want.
