Friday morning, shortly before eight thirty in Barcelona: In the Eixample district, right behind the restored Sant Antoni market hall, a few dozen children get on their bikes. Some wear blue vests with the words “Bicibús” on them, most have helmets, and some still have training wheels. It is the meeting point for an amazingly good-humored protest march. The children laugh, ring the doorbell, and music can be heard from a box on a bicycle trailer.
