Bärbel Schäfer made a name for himself in the truest sense of the word with his own talk show. She was in front of the camera as a moderator for the RTL show “Bärbel Schäfer” more than 1,500 times.
Schäfer was born in Bremen in 1963. After studying, she began her television career at WDR in the early 1990s and has remained loyal to the media ever since.
In 1995 she switched to RTL for her talk show.
The ARD program “Wellness TV” followed, but she was also seen as a presenter on RTL 2 and n-tv for a while.
In 2004 she married the lawyer, politician and moderator Michel Friedman, shortly afterwards she converted to Judaism, together they have two sons.
Since 2009, Bärbel Schäfer has had her own talk format on the radio station hr3. “Bärbel Schäfer – The Sunday Talk” can be heard every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
