It has been official since last Thursday: the third division club Türkgücü Munich had to file for bankruptcy and is no longer playing. The investor Hasan Kivran wanted to aim high with the club – among other things with the support of the Turkish community in Germany. In his research, the Potsdam sports sociologist Silvester Stahl deals with migrant clubs and their effect on German sports. For him, one thing is certain: the reasons for the failure are not new.
