A ship that was supposed to deliver fuel to a Bahamas island recently lost over 11,000 liters of fuel. The country’s current prime minister informed Parliament of this on Wednesday. The island of Great Exuma is famous for its white sandy beaches and crystal blue waters, as well as coves where tourists can swim with pigs. The fuel was transported by a ship named Arabian for Sun Oil, a company based in the Bahamas. According to the government, Sun Oil has announced that it will cooperate in cleaning up the beaches. Sun Oil itself has not yet commented on the incident.
