Bad Windsheim: Moving a synagogue – Bavaria

If you have spent decades in a certain place and are then repotted, it is crucial where exactly you end up. So let’s first take a look at the neighborhood that the synagogue from Allersheim in Franconia is immediately confronted with. On the left is a worth seeing barn from Weiltingen, one of the cozy corners of Franconia. On the right is a pretty schoolhouse from the area around Burgbernheim, charming. Behind the house there are magnificent fruit trees, in front of it a brewery from northern Lower Franconia with a beer garden. To say the least: things could have been worse with the new neighbors in the Franconian Open Air Museum in Bad Windsheim.
