32 Grammys – nobody else has as many music awards as Beyoncé. At the awards ceremony in Los Angeles, the singer received four more golden gramophones. Album of the Year award goes to Harry Styles.

US singer Beyoncé received four Grammys at this year’s Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. The artist has 32 Grammys – more than any other award winner so far. Beyoncé replaced the conductor Georg Solti, who died in 1997 and was the record holder with 31 Grammys.

The 41-year-old, who was nominated in nine categories, received, among other things, the coveted Grammy for the best dance/electronic album for her work “Renaissance”. “I try not to be too emotional (…) and just enjoy this evening,” said Beyoncé at the awards ceremony. “I want to thank my parents, my father and mother, who loved and encouraged me,” she added. “Thank you to my wonderful husband and three wonderful children for being at home watching.”

Harry Styles Album of the Year

However, album of the year comes from Harry Styles. He got the award for “Harry’s House”. The award for the recording of the year went to Lizzo: Lizzo and her production team were recognized for their song “About Damn Time”. They beat out Harry Styles’ “As It Was”, Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul” and Kendrick Lamar’s “The Heart Part 5”.

“In a world of darkness and a lot of scary shit, I want to believe that people are inherently good,” Lizzo said in her acceptance speech. The 34-year-old is committed to diversity, equality and a positive body image.
