Autumn market in Markt Schwaben – Ebersberg

You probably wouldn’t throw a party for a guest who is as cold and forbidding as this autumn. But after all, a new season isn’t just anyone, no matter how rainy it may be. That’s why the people of Markt Schwaben insist on holding an autumn market again this year, which will take place on Sunday, October 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. around the town’s market square.

All sorts of things will be on offer there: in addition to artisans who offer their goods made of leather, wood and felt for sale, there are food stands where you can feast on almonds, fish on a stick and grilled vegetables. A special attraction is a master glass blower who will demonstrate his skills on site. The Aktivkreis Kunst und Kultur in turn attracts visitors with a photo pavilion. And the children don’t miss out either: a mini train, a merry-go-round, a clown and a cheat booth are available for them.

In addition, there is the opportunity to talk to clubs and active groups who will pitch their tents on the market. There will be an Ostra sales stand for the benefit of the partner community affected by the flood disaster. This day is also a shopping Sunday. From 1 p.m. onwards, all sorts of shops around the market are open. And the Markt Schwaben community library will be holding a book flea market from 12 noon to 5 p.m. If you spontaneously want to sell books yourself, you can join them, all you need is your own blanket or table.
