Australia: What time and on which channel to watch the Blues’ first match at the 2022 World Cup?

Didier Deschamps’ France team is playing its first World Cup match in Qatar, four years after lifting the trophy in the most prestigious competition in Russia. Qualified as first in their group, the Blues arrive in the Middle East with logical ambitions.

As in 2018, Australia is in the France group. Is this a good omen? The Socceroos confirmed their ticket to the competition after eliminating Peru on penalties in the play-offs. Suffice to say that they had to fight to achieve this and that they will not give gifts to Kylian Mbappé’s teammates.

Four years ago, the Blues won (2-1) thanks to goals from Antoine Griezmann and Aziz Behich against his side. The France team then finished first in their group. We wish him all the best in this first match of the group stage and for the rest of the competition.

The match will be played in the Al-Janoub Stadium which can accommodate 45,000 spectators.
