First of all, “Seven Days of Mo” is a very good story in itself. Oliver Scherz tells about the twin brothers Karl and Moritz, Mo for short, and he does so in a very approachable, complex and cliché-free way. The novel for older children was published by Thienemann-Verlag in 2023. Karl has to look after Mo a lot because he is cognitively impaired and cannot cope on his own. A big task for a teenager. She demands a lot from Karl, often overwhelms him, but also makes him proud.
