On New Year’s Eve, entertainment is all the rage on TV. Jörg Pilawa was able to inspire most of the viewers of his show.

Presenter Jörg Pilawa (56) and his New Year’s Eve show in the first had the best ratings on Friday evening. The marathon show from 8:15 p.m. until after midnight had 3.81 million viewers at prime time, that was a market share of 17.1 percent.

At the same time, ZDF had 2.25 million viewers and a 10.2 percent market share at prime time with Andrea Kiewel, Johannes B. Kerner and “Willkommen 2022 – New Year’s Eve live from the Brandenburg Gate”.

At ProSieben, Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf had to reinterpret the long-running “Dinner for one” in “Silvester für Eins” because they had previously lost a game against their employer. From 8:15 p.m., 2.32 million viewers came here (10.4 percent market share). The station then had the 20-year-old nonsense classic “Der Schuh des Manitu” in its program (1.12 million, 5.1 percent).

At RTL, “The Ultimate Chart Show – The Most Successful New Year’s Eve Party Hits” had 1.84 million viewers (8.2 percent) at prime time. Music also at Vox: The documentary “100 songs that moved the world” were watched by 0.87 million (3.9 percent) at prime time.

Another nonsense classic in the New Year’s Eve program: “The naked cannon” with Leslie Nielsen was watched by two 460,000 people (2.1 percent) on RTL.

For the game show revival “Go all out!” with Jörg Draeger and Daniel Boschmann on Sat.1, 0.69 million viewers (3.1 percent) were interested.
