It remains silent in room 23 of the district court in Münster when judge Cornelia Oen announces the verdict against Nuradi A.: five years of youth imprisonment and placement in a rehabilitation center for addicted offenders because of bodily harm resulting in death. Oen thus follows the demands of the public prosecutor’s office, which they had made as punishment for the accused’s fatal attack on the transman Malte C. last year.
