Asus introduces premium gaming chair: The ROG Destrier Ergo comes with adjustable lumbar support

Gaming chairs are often not as ergonomic as their office counterparts. When do we ever find an adjustable lumbar support in a gaming chair with a typical racing look? Asus is now introducing a gaming chair that relies on strong ergonomics and comes across as a hybrid of office and gaming. However, the new model is not cheap.

Office chair below, gaming chair above

The ROG Destrier Ergo Gaming Chair comes with a “futuristic cyborg design” and advertises flexible and versatile ergonomic settings. Except for the headboard, the chair looks like a high-quality office chair with a sturdy aluminum frame and even has a mesh back section and adjustable lumbar support. The head part is a bit wider and is reminiscent of the classic gaming look. The red Asus logo is emblazoned on the neck pillow.

A nice specimen of gaming chair. Here you can see the Asus ROG Destrier Ergo Gaming Chair in all its glory.

Another special feature is the mobile gaming mode. With this you can raise the armrests by 14 centimeters to get the perfect position for your elbows in the handheld. This is certainly also practical for the Nintendo Switch and the Steam Deck. The armrests can also be rotated 360 degrees.

In addition, the chair has an acoustic panel that blocks out side noise and lets you immerse yourself even more in the games. That’s why the headboard looks so bulky. You can attach and detach the panel as you wish. Add to that a tilt and tilt mechanism with durable Class 4 gas lift, soft PU leather, and memory foam.

Even a beautiful back can be delightful, isn’t it?

Of course you can also adjust the height of the chair and the depth of the seat. The lumbar support can be adjusted seven centimeters in height and one centimeter in depth. Overall, the chair carries a maximum load of 150 kilograms and should therefore offer enough support and support for most players.

However, the fun for your back costs 919 euros, which is not a price for the general gamer crowd. In the first quarter of 2023, the expensive but also damn good-looking chair will be launched. One official product page This already exists.
