Ezra Blount succumbed to his injuries. The nine-year-old was trampled to death in the mass panic at the Astroworld Festival.

A nine-year-old boy died over a week after the mass panic at the Astroworld Festival. Ezra Blount died in a children’s hospital on Sunday. Due to his severe injuries, he was placed in an artificial coma. He is the tenth person killed in the November 5th disaster.

Trampled by the crowd

Treston Blount, the boy’s father, had on a donation page created a campaign for his son. On the page he tells from his point of view what happened at the festival in Houston, Texas. Accordingly, he was standing in the crowd with the boy on his shoulder when the mass panic broke out during the performance of festival organizer Travis Scott (30) and superstar Drake (35). Treston Blount passed out in the crowd and his son fell to the floor. There he was presumably trampled by the crowd. Ezra Blount suffered serious injuries to multiple organs, according to his father.
