It was to be expected that the first “manned” flight around the moon in decades would not be exactly that, at least not only. Nasa has been saying for years that the current lunar program is intended to bring a woman and also someone with non-white skin to the moon. This week, the team for the Artemis 2 mission was introduced, including African American Victor Glover and astronaut Christina Koch.
