Aschheim: second-hand shop opened – district of Munich

The “Hand in Hand” association is adding another to its offerings in Aschheim: the non-profit association has been running a second-hand shop in the town center for a few days, right across from the pharmacy. The shop is called “Schatzkasterl” and, according to the initiators, should become a meeting place for Aschheim residents and also offer space to make new plans for the design of the place.

With the resale, the association members want to give donated things a second life and make a contribution to sustainable consumption. Hand in Hand wants to invest the proceeds from second-hand sales in new projects, but they could also benefit other organizations in Aschheim.

The “Schatzkasterl” is open Tuesdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Goods are also accepted on Mondays between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. More information about the product range is available online at www.handinhand-aschheim.de.
