An important mobilization. Nearly 250,000 people demonstrated against the far right in France, at the call of five unions, associations and left-wing parties members of the New Popular Front, according to figures from the Ministry of the Interior, Saturday 15 June.

François Hollande candidate in Corrèze. “If I made this decision, it is because I felt that the situation was serious”, declared the former president to justify his candidacy in the 1st constituency of Corrèze. François Hollande was named candidate for the New Popular Front after an imbroglio on the left, the PS leadership having denied this nomination before “take note” of this choice.
Oliver Faure denounces a “scandalous eviction” at LFI. The boss of the socialists says he is in the process “to resolve the scandalous eviction” rebellious deputies “rebels” Alexis Corbière, Raquel Garrido and Danielle Simonnet, not reinvested by the management of La France insoumise. “The Popular Front does not deserve to be tarnished by irresponsible decisions”wrote the first secretary of the PS on the social network.
The investitures of La France insoumise are causing trouble. The radical left movement is accused of “purge” or “sectarianism” after publishing the names of its 230 candidates for the legislative elections. Several historical figures of the party such as Alexis Corbière or Raquel Garrido, labeled as rebellious, were dismissed while Adrien Quatennens, convicted of domestic violence, obtained the right to run.
The right settles its scores in court. The Paris judicial court suspended the exclusion of Eric Ciotti by the LR political office, without however ruling on the merits. “Justice has spoken, I am president of the Republicans”reacted the person concerned.
