It was obviously very nice in Saarbrücken: The nine directors of the ARD regional broadcasting companies met for two days at the headquarters of the Saarländischer Rundfunk. “It was a very successful meeting,” said ARD chairman Kai Gniffke in a press conference after the conference. Now, after this conference, we know: “ARD 2.0 is becoming a reality,” said Gniffke. “Nobody can claim anymore that the ARD is not moving or is moving too slowly.” Many of the reform projects are also in line with the proposals of the Future Council.
