Long before the construction costs of the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg had increased tenfold, long before the new airport in Berlin became the hot spot of the world, the so-called Schürmann building became the grandmother of all German building scandals. But woe betide if someone from the editor decides to delete the “so-called” from this text.
