Arbitrum distributes 3,350 ETH from transaction fees to ecosystem-eligible DAOs.

Arbitrum will distribute nearly $6.2 million worth of Ether to the DAO, according to the project.announce on May 9th on Twitter, with revenue coming from base fees and surplus revenue generated from network transactions.

Each fee paid on Arbitrum One is divided into two parts — the L1 fee and the L2 fee. The L1 fee covers the cost of posting transactions on the Ethereum network, and the L2 fee covers the cost of running the network.

Earnings details also reveal an approximately 582 ETH surplus generated by L1 fees, nearly 1,308 ETH over base fees, and a surplus of 1,462 ETH from L2 fees. This represents 3,352 ETH in revenue for Arbitrum’s DAO.
