Appointments in the service centers of the Bavarian tax offices can now be booked in advance online or by phone for a fixed time slot. “In this way, we reduce the waiting time on site, offer more flexibility for citizens and optimize even more efficient time management of the tax offices,” said Bavaria’s Finance and Home Affairs Minister Albert Füracker (CSU) on Monday at the official launch of the new appointment system in Neumarkt, Upper Palatinate.
“Together, we are today taking another step into Bavaria’s digital and citizen-friendly future: Our Bavarian tax office service centers will now be even more modern, innovative and efficient,” said Füracker.
The new appointment system was activated in all Bavarian tax offices and branches on July 1. Citizens can book their appointments directly online at https://www.elster.de/eportal/uebersichtservicezentren or book by phone. You can choose the time slot yourself, so that the visit can be optimally integrated into your daily routine. The system had previously been tested in twelve tax offices.
