Apple, Intel, Google in Germany – Opinion

Apple, the iPhone group from California, is massively expanding its Munich location and is now spending a total of around two billion euros on a European research center. The investment is definitely symbolic. Because Apple is not alone. Other American tech specialists such as Intel, Google or Wolfspeed are also setting up new locations, in this country of all places. These companies are known for weighing their location decisions very carefully and not just looking at possible subsidies. So everything indicates that Germany is better than its reputation as a location.
