Apple and Google have big plans in Munich – culture

Munich doesn’t need a skyline. Munich has the Alps. So that panorama artists and jet pilots know that there is a city in front of the mountains, a Frauenkirche and then an Olympic tower were attached in it, with which the late Middle Ages and disco modernism were allowed to leave their mark on the firmament. Those were the two formative phases of the city’s history up to now, apart from a third and unpleasant phase as the “capital of the movement”, but the disco P1 is located in the basement of Hitler’s “Haus der Kunst”, so at least it has that Disco age but done a good job. Overall, however, the urge towards anti-modernism has always been very pronounced in the city, which can still be seen today in the fact that people from Düsseldorf or Frankfurt are amazed at how quiet it is in this large residential city in the evening, and incidentally also during the day.
