Rachel DeLoache Williams helped convict Anna “Delvey” Sorokin. Not the only reason why the fake heiress is now coming out of jail and taunting her former girlfriend.

After Anna Sorokin ripped off banks and hotels under the name “Anna Delvey,” it took an undercover police operation to arrest the young woman in Malibu, California, in 2017.

Sorokin’s former girlfriend Rachel DeLoache Williams, who tricked Sorokin into believing that she wanted to meet her and was able to help with her arrest, came to the investigators’ crucial help. No wonder Sorokin harbors a grudge against her.

On Monday, the Russian-born fake heiress posted multiple stories openly denouncing Williams. “I’ve been silent about it for years,” she announced. However, the fact that Williams still unpacks her story on every talk show she invites has led her to reveal her point of view. And what she reveals has it all.

Rachel DeLoache Williams has benefited

In the summer of 2018, Williams is said to have tried to get Sorokin to write a book with her. “During her numerous public cries for attention claiming that I ‘ruined’ her life,” the “relentless Rachel DeLoache Williams” forgets to mention just that. Williams has no other topic than her short friendship with the scammer, so the allegation. “Can someone please enlighten us if she has done anything at all over the last three years other than talking and writing about me, reading and dissecting my interviews, taking angry notes and looking for things that she outraged?” Sorokin asked rhetorically.

That Williams would want to work with Sorokin would be amazing. After all, the betrayed girlfriend made it clear again and again that she wanted nothing to do with the fake heiress.

Sorokin’s Instagram posts echo the megalomania that is now familiar from the fake heiress who sees herself as a star. “And while I can understand her upset that I’ve already accomplished more in various prisons than Rachel has in her whole sheltered life of privilege, she won’t get away with this blatant hypocrisy under my watch,” she wrote.

The 12-member jury found Sorokin not guilty on the count involving Williams. After Sorokin’s credit cards stopped working on their luxury vacation together in Morocco, the photo editor at the time offered her card and that of her employer as a temporary replacement. She never got the $62,000 back from Sorokin. But American Express was kind, Williams was also able to sign a lucrative book deal and sold the rights to her story to the pay-TV channel HBO. So the bottom line is that Williams benefited from her unfortunate friendship with the fake heiress. A point that the Netflix series “Inventing Anna” focuses on.
