Andrej Mangold caused big discussions in the “Sommerhaus” and had to take a lot of criticism. Now he has poured out his heart in an interview.
Former professional basketball player Andrej Mangold (34) and his girlfriend at the time, fitness influencer Jennifer Lange (27), made themselves unpopular in the past “Summer House of the Stars” season. Allegations of bullying were circulating. The hatred on the net did not ebb after the show. The relationship could not withstand this pressure, Mangold and Lange separated. Both did not show their grief in public. Until now. “It all started with the ‘summer house of the stars’ and the mega-scandal about my person,” the ex-bachelor now tells in an interview with “Bild”.

“After the public breakup, a world collapsed for me. I still have a family wish and thought I would be able to fulfill this dream after the show,” he explains. There seems to be no turning back for the former dream couple either, because Jennifer Lange is in a new relationship.
Shortly after Mangold’s return from production on the reality TV format “Kampf der Realitystars”, Mangold apparently began a relationship with a friend of his. “He was my friend, my caregiver. He even tried to encourage me during the separation phase, often speaking badly about her, in order to finally get together with her”, Mangold says of his grief.
“I don’t know who else to trust”
This new couple has shaken his confidence. “I don’t know who I can still trust and that still burdens me a lot,” says Mangold. But that’s not all: “After all the things that had happened, I sometimes don’t even know who is a friend and who is an enemy? I asked myself, would a woman Andrej even get to know or she just want to be in public? I hardly trust anyone anymore someone, “he says.
To this day, he has not properly processed the events after the “summer house” and the separation, “probably because I did not allow myself a break,” he admits. “I just kept going, repressed my problems, thought it would go away, but my problems caught up with me.”
When he gave in to the signals from his body, he only slept for a week and got sick. “In the meantime I’ve started to process things.”
