On the night of Wednesday to Thursday, a man in his thirties was stabbed in the middle of the street, in Villeurbanne, near Lyon. The victim was immediately transported to the hospital when the firefighters arrived, around 12:50 a.m., but died during the night as a result of his injuries, the Lyon prosecutor’s office said in a press release.
