The Home Secretary has repeatedly called for the Dalton’s Instagram account to be closed. But the calls of Gérald Darmanin have still not been heard by the social network, and the collective of rappers from Lyon continues to publish videos of provocations towards the police.
Unhappy at not having been received by the mayor of Lyon with whom they wanted to “make peace” and “explain themselves with their faces uncovered”, the gang released a video on Friday. Dressed in a black and yellow prisoner outfit, one of its members, wearing a mask, announced the live broadcast on Saturday evening of “thrilling, as usual” action.
Burned vehicle
In another post, published the day before, they indicated that they would roam the streets of Lyon aboard the “daltomobile”, a yellow Clio registered “Dalton 69”, but without saying more. Finally, on Saturday, around 8:45 p.m., the vehicle came to a stop in front of a police station in the city. Filmed by one of his friends, the driver honked several times while a passenger “went out to make faces”, explained to 20 minutes a police source. Then the Dalton fled, pursued by the police.
“Go in front of the police station shout:” Lucky [Luke] get your ass out of here come work “, it doesn’t have much more [sic] they turn [sic] to death ”, they subsequently let their followers know on Instagram to explain why they had stopped their live. Around 9:15 p.m., the yellow Clio was found burnt down on rue Paul Pic, in Bron. An investigation has been opened. This does not seem to stop the Dalton who have already promised, on their favorite social network, “very large actions” within “a few days”.
