A big fire broke out on a building site this Friday afternoon in Vaulx-en-Velin in the Lyon suburbs without causing any casualties, according to the prefecture.

The disaster affected a six-storey building under construction in the town of Vaulx-en-Velin, in the agglomeration. A propane cylinder stored on the roof exploded for some reason, triggering the explosion for a second. Four workers were working on the floors but they were not injured and were evacuated by firefighters, according to the same source, adding that the flames were quickly brought under control.
