An autistic child excluded from the canteen because of his disorder

In Lyon, a young boy with autism can no longer eat in his school canteen, reports France 3. Olivier, 10 years old, is educated in the 9th arrondissement of Lyon and usually accompanied by a referent teacher as part of his care in the Ulis class (Localized unit for inclusive education).

His supervisor absent, the schoolboy let himself be carried away by a panic attack that his establishment could not manage. This is the third time this has happened in two years, a period during which Olivier had already been temporarily excluded from the canteen.

A situation therefore renewed that the establishment justifies by the lack of competent staff to manage children with disabilities.
