Amira Pocher has to leave “Let’s Dance”.

There were only three left: A week before the grand finale of “Let’s Dance” the next star from the show was chosen. Thus, the finalists of the 15th season have been determined.

On Friday evening, “Let’s Dance” was about getting into the final. For the first time this year, the celebrities had to hover over the dance floor three times. Above all, René Casselly impressed the judges. The artist received a total of 84 points from the jury.

Janin Ullmann got the full number of points for her rumba, but overall she “only” got 80 points with all three dances. Things went far worse for Amira Pocher and Mathias Mester. The presenter and the athlete received 73 and 72 points for their dances. Thus, the athlete ended up in last place on Friday evening.

The points at a glance

  • René Casselly: 28 + 29 + 27 = 84 points
  • Janin Ullmann: 26 + 30 + 24 = 80 points
  • Amira Pocher: 23 + 28 + 22 = 73 points
  • Mathias Mester: 24 + 29 + 19 = 72 points

But who really has to leave the show is decided not only by the judges, but also by the viewers – and they saved Mathias Mester from being thrown out. The 35-year-old received more calls than his six-year-old competitor. So it danced out for Amira Pocher and her dance partner Massimo Sinató in episode eleven.
