Amber Heard once again tried to explain her predicament in her last appearance on the witness stand. You receive death threats.

It was probably her last appearance on the witness stand – and at the same time probably the most emotional. Amber Heard (36) was questioned again in the sometimes bizarre trial of her ex-husband Johnny Depp (58) before the mud fight will come to an end, at least in court for the time being. Once again, Heard is mentally attacked – also because of the public opinion against her, which almost unanimously perceives her as an aggressor.

“I’m harassed, humiliated and threatened every day,” says Heard about her inner life. It starts as soon as you enter the courtroom. She has also received thousands of death threats since the trial began. Hundreds of new ones are added every day, Heard explains with a trembling voice and tears. “People want to kill me,” the actress said in court in Virginia.

These threats were also made against her one-year-old daughter Oonah Paige Heard. “People want to put my baby in the microwave,” Heard continues. In addition, they make fun of her, even though she is the victim and was abused by Depp. She calls the experience “scary, painful and humiliating”. She had never had to go through anything like this before in her life. She, too, is human and absolutely no one deserves what happens to her.

In the trial between Hollywood stars Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, closing arguments are scheduled for Friday. The jury then begins their deliberations. Depp denies any allegations against himself and accuses his ex-wife of defamation for which he wants millions in damages.

That’s what it’s about in detail

Johnny Depp has sued Amber Heard for $50 million over an article she published in the Washington Post in 2018. In it, she claimed to be a victim of domestic violence. She did not mention her ex-husband by name. Depp claims the post nonetheless ruined his career, damaged his reputation and cost him a lot of money.

Heard has filed a $100 million counterclaim against her ex. The couple got married in 2015. The two separated in 2016 and divorced in 2017. Both parties have repeatedly accused each other of domestic violence.
