According to the police headquarters in Oberbayern-Nord, the so-called Freinacht passed without any major incidents. Although the operations center in Ingolstadt recorded 122 operations related to the free night in its area of responsibility on the night of May 1, the officials said that there were no frequent disturbances of the peace and damage to property as in other years. However, 34 disturbances of the peace, six damage to property and seven offenses involving bodily harm were reported. The police headquarters cites an incident in Utting as an example: Around midnight in Jahnstrasse, young people threw eggs at a 59-year-old woman.

The Z symbol is banned because it is seen as a sign of support for Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine.
