Alleged reference to the release period of the PS5 version surfaced

CD Projekt RED’s action role-playing game is set to come to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S soon. Now another reference to the publication period has surfaced.

When the action role-playing game “Cyberpunk 2077” was released for the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and the PC in December 2020, the company behind it, CD Projekt RED, had to listen to a lot of criticism. A multitude of technical problems, including bugs and crashes, made V’s adventure more or less unplayable, especially on consoles.

Coming to PlayStation 5 soon?

Since then, the remaining interested players have been waiting for a next-gen implementation, which the developers say will be released in the first quarter of 2022. Now, hints about a PlayStation 5 version have surfaced in the PlayStation Store database. Accordingly, the new version is supposed to appear between mid-February and early March.

Nevertheless, it is still a rumor, so you should wait for an official announcement from CD Projekt RED. Anyone who already owns the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version should receive a free next-gen upgrade. As soon as further details are communicated, we will update you.
