All-network flat rate with twelve gigabytes for eight euros – a good deal?

All-net flats are ideal for carefree surfing. There is currently an interesting deal at Klarmobil – a flat rate with twelve gigabytes of data volume for just under eight euros per month. Is it worth it?

With an all-net flat rate, users not only travel carefree on the Internet, as it usually also includes flat rates for making calls and sending SMS. If you are looking for a new tariff, all-network variants are a good choice. If you look around the jungle of current offers, you might also stumble across the new Klarmobil deal. Anyone interested can get an all-net flat rate with twelve gigabytes of data volume included, the whole thing costs 7.99 euros per month. That sounds like a good offer for normal surfers – we took a closer look.

LTE all-net flat rate in the Telekom network

Klarmobil currently offers an all-network flat rate with telephony and SMS flat rates as well as twelve gigabytes of data volume for 7.99 euros per month. It has a surfing speed of not outstanding, but at least a solid 25 megabits per second. Another advantage is the flexible start of the contract, which is possible until June 30th – for anyone who is looking for a new contract in the longer term. This option normally costs 19.99 euros per month, so a discount of around 60 percent is possible here.

The details at a glance:

  • LTE internet flat rate with twelve gigabytes (25 Mbit/s) in the Telekom network
  • Including telephony and SMS flat rate as well as EU roaming
  • eSIM possible
  • Flexible contract start date (no later than June 30, 24)
  • Monthly basic fee: 7.99 euros instead of 19.99 euros
  • Connection price: 19.99 euros
  • Contract term: 24 Months

Extrapolated over the contract term of 24 months, this represents a good saving. However, users are also bound to a contract term of two years and should think about canceling it at least one month before the end of the term, because from the 25th month the tariff costs the usual 19.99 euros again. A connection fee of 19.99 euros is also due. Nevertheless, the deal is a worthwhile option for moderate surfers.

Save with an additional card from Vodafone

If you already have a Vodafone contract and are not looking for a new tariff for yourself, but for a family member or partner, you may find what you are looking for with the Family Card. With the Family Card tariffs, Vodafone offers additional cards for existing contracts. This is often cheaper than signing a completely new contract – this is especially true for the current promotions, which are still available until June 5th. There is currently double data volume for the FamilyCard S and M.

For 9.99 euros for the S tariff, ten gigabytes of unthrottled data volume is included, plus a telephony and SMS flat rate. Another advantage: With the Giga Depot, I can carry unused data volume with me into the next month. The connection fee is also currently waived here. But be careful: When you sign a contract for an additional card, the minimum term starts at zero and is 24 months – the contract term of the main contract is not taken into account.

The details at a glance:

  • FamilyCard S and M to the existing or new Vodafone contract
  • Action: double data volume for both tariffs (FamilyCard S: five instead of ten GB, FamilyCard M: 40 instead of 20 GB)
  • Promotion period: until June 5th
  • Monthly fee: FamilyCard S for 9.99 euros/month, FamilyCard M for 19.99 euros/month
  • Connection price: zero euros
  • Contract term: 24 Months

For moderate surfers looking for a new tariff, the Klarmobil option can be worthwhile – 7.99 euros is a good price for an all-network flat rate with twelve gigabytes of data volume. However, if you are looking for an additional card for a family member, you will find what you are looking for with the Vodafone deal. The price-performance ratio with the Klarmobil deal is certainly better, but Vodafone offers advantages such as carrying the unused data volume with you into the next month and waiving the connection fee.
