La Liga’s response quickly came on Saturday from a spokesperson: “Regarding the events that occurred on Friday, La Liga continues to investigate and has detected in videos posted on social networks racist insults from a few people, not from groups, which will be the subject of complaints, as in the previous cases”.

Then La Liga president Javier Tebas himself reacted on Twitter : “In La Liga, we have been fighting racism for years. A month ago, the Spanish courts dismissed an investigation into racist chants sung by some Atlético de Madrid supporters three months earlier against Vinicius.
