Bundesliga club RB Leipzig has signed Marco Rose as their new coach.
Rose follows Domenico Tedesco, who was released on Wednesday, and will receive a contract until June 2024, as the cup winner announced on Thursday.
Start against ex-clubs
Rose starts in Leipzig with a demanding program: In the league he first meets his former clubs Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach. In the second game of the Champions League group stage, RB will also be visiting defending champions Real Madrid next Wednesday.
Past in the RB cosmos
Rose was on leave from BVB at the end of the 2021/22 season. He previously worked in Gladbach and at RB Salzburg, where he earned a good reputation in the RB cosmos.
