Although not called up for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games (July 26 to August 11), Margaux Pinot won the world champion title on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi (- 70 kg category) against her compatriot Marie-Eve Gahié. After a fight which took a very long time to take shape between the two French women, the 30-year-old judokate made the difference, during the golden score, following a waza-ari to win her second world medal after having acquired bronze in 2019 in Tokyo.
