After Alphonso Davies’ myocarditis, several similar diagnoses were made at the Africa Cup of Nations. Three national players are affected, including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Like the Bayern professional, they had previously contracted Corona.

Myocarditis in Alphonso Davies

The coach of FC Bayern was referring to Alphonso Davies’ illness. The 21-year-old left-back was diagnosed with heart muscle inflammation and will now be missing for several weeks. Davies had tested positive for the corona virus on January 6th.
