Taylor Swift fans are very disappointed because of the concert cancellations. The city and retailers are trying to lift the spirits of the frustrated fans with a few niceties.

The city Vienna wants to console Taylor Swift fans who have traveled to Vienna for the cancellation of the concerts. Anyone who shows a ticket can get a hamburger at a fancy burger joint – for free. Some bars also offer the “Swifties” free drinks. A coffee chain is joining in and giving out a free coffee. Anyone interested in culture can use the Swift ticket to enter the famous Albertina collection for free. A vintage store is offering a 20 percent discount on the second-hand goods on offer there. The Vienna swimming pools also have an offer: anyone with a ticket for the canceled concerts can visit an outdoor pool in the city of Vienna on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for 2.60 euros – that’s the cheapest rate.

In any case, not everyone lets the fun of the gathering of like-minded people be spoiled. TV images showed hundreds of Swift fans gathering at St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna to sing some of the US mega-star’s songs together.
