If the Federal Minister of Finance had come just a little earlier, it could have been a journey full of beautiful pictures and good news. For years, Ghana was regarded as Africa’s economic and political role model, as convincing proof that democracy and development, growth and prosperity are also possible on the battered continent that has been exploited by the rich north for so long.
