At least 15 people killed in explosion in northern Afghanistan
According to media reports, at least 15 people were killed in an explosion in Afghanistan’s northern city of Aibak. 27 others were injured, local TV station Tolonews reported on Wednesday.
According to the ruling Taliban, the incident happened in a religious school in Samangan province during midday prayers. The authorities have not yet commented on the cause of the explosion. Since the Taliban took power in August 2021, there have been multiple attacks in Afghanistan, which the terrorist militia Islamic State (IS), which is hostile to the Taliban, have claimed as their own.
