Affair with bodyguard: Princess Diana is said to have cheated on Charles first

According to a new report, it was not Prince Charles who cheated on Diana first, but the princess herself. The focus is on her bodyguard Barry Mannakee, as a CNN documentary reveals.
For over three decades, the whole world has assumed that Prince Charles was the first to cheat on his wife Diana. A 1995 TV interview with the Princess revealed her famous phrase, “There were three of us in this marriage.” But the CNN documentary “DIANA” is now analyzing that there could have been more players in this royal connection.
Six episodes show a Diana who, even 24 years after her fatal car accident, was so unknown to the outside world. New interviews and unpublished recordings change one or the other view of the princess. One of the most explosive details is that it should not have been Prince Charles who constantly cheated on Diana with Camilla Parker Bowles, but the princess was the first in the marriage to have an affair.
Prince Charles met Camilla before marrying Diana and they stayed in touch throughout the marriage. However, the former security chief Allan Peters now reports that Prince Charles should no longer have had a romantic relationship with Camilla until he found out about Diana’s misstep.
Allan Peters brought to light Diana’s infidelity
Allan Peters worked for two decades in the royal security team and says about his employment at the time: “I noticed that Diana behaved in an unusual way whenever the bodyguard Barry Mannakee was near her. At some point I decided to speak to the princess about it.”
When Allan Peters kindly pointed out his observations to the Princess of Wales, the princess is said to have denied the abnormalities for 20 minutes before she told the security guard everything about her special relationship with Mannakee. After the piquant conversation with Diana, Peters also pointed out his suspicions to Charles and the conversation that followed. It was only when the Prince of Wales correctly interpreted the clues that he is said to have traded again with his former lover Parker Bowles.
Barry Mannakee had an accident a short time later
The affair between Princess Diana and her bodyguard Barry Mannakee is said to have started during a fishing trip to Balmoral in 1985 after Mannakee took up the job as a bodyguard. So it says in a 1994 book by Jonathan Dimbleby, which supports Allan Peters’ statement that Diana cheated first. Prince Charles and Camilla are said to have only met again regularly from 1986.
It is mysterious, however, that Mannakee switched from the royal security team to the diplomatic security team in 1986 and was killed in a car accident another year later, at the age of 39. Princess Diana later said he was pushed off the street.
