Aerosmith is 50 years of existence and an abundant catalog shared, until today, by Sony Music / Colombia and Geffen Records. But everything will change in 2022. From next year, the management and operation of their catalog will be entirely the responsibility of Universal Music Group. In addition to their great successes of the 80s / 90s with the albums Permanent Vacation (1987), Pump (1989) or again Get a Grip (1993), Universal will benefit from an unprecedented access to “Vindalou Vaults”, name given to the archives of the group also made up of Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer and Brad Whitford.

For Joe Perry, co-founder of the group with Steven Tyler and maker of some of the riffs most memorable guitar chords in rock history, this chord opens a new chapter for Aerosmith. “It has been a long road, but I am extremely happy and proud to say, on behalf of Aerosmith, that we have been able to bring our 50 years of music together under one roof by partnering with UMG.
