Between January and April, Adele will be performing weekend concerts in Las Vegas. And the superstar really gets paid for it: the singer is said to earn more than half a million dollars per show.

Concert shows in Las Vegas are known to be a lucrative source of income for artists. Beginning January 21, British singer Adele will be performing at the Colosseum Theater in the Caesars Palace Hotel every weekend through April. The superstar is reportedly making around $680,000 per show. As reported by the British “Sun”, among others, this makes her one of the highest paid female stars of a Las Vegas show.

Ticket prices for the “Weekends With Adele” show in the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which cost between $950 and $12,000 depending on the seating category, were sold out in no time. But it gets even more expensive: some resellers offer remaining tickets on the Internet at astronomical prices of up to 48,000 dollars. Adele gets her share of the ticket sales and also earns from selling Adele merchandise at the famous venue.

Adele in Las Vegas: luxury suite with butler and chauffeur

“Adele is the hottest ticket in Las Vegas right now, and she’s making a pretty penny doing it,” a source said. “She is expected to bring in more than $680,000 per concert from ticket sales alone, before merchandising. Caesars rolled out the red carpet to ensure she is treated like the superstar she is,” the statement continued .

The 33-year-old will live in a private suite worth $40,000 per night, which she can use at any time during her stay. A butler, assistant, chauffeur and security guard are also available during her stay. At each Caesars resort, you and your guests can eat and drink for free.

With her income, the diva joins the ranks of the top earners in Las Vegas. The record holder is Rod Stewart, who signed a contract for 50 million dollars in 2012 and is said to have earned around 2.7 million dollars per show from his performances at the Colosseum. Apparently also a reason why he extended his contract and still performs with his show “The Hits” at Caesars Palace.

The highest-paid female artist is Lady Gaga, who signed a two-year deal with MGM Park Theater in 2017 that brought her $75 million in total, nearly $1 million per show. Britney Spears made about $507,000 per show during her time in Las Vegas and singer Celin Dion made $476,000. Most recently, the Canadian world star had to cancel planned appearances in Las Vegas from November to February due to health problems.
