Starting the year with Franz Schubert’s “Winterreise” is a tradition in Pasing chamber music. Great voices like Okka von der Damerau, Tareq Nazmi or Milan Siljanov and very often Gerold Huber on the piano have already interpreted the song cycle in the small concert hall of the Pasing Adult Education Center . And very often Walther Weck, organizer of the series, had to announce in advance: “Hopelessly overbooked!” That was the case again this time when Weck announced the “Winter Journey” for January 8th in a highly unusual version: the young, award-winning baritone Jonas Müller and the internationally renowned guitar duo Tomasi + Musso interpret the cycle in a new arrangement for voice and two guitars. Now there is an additional concert, a matinée on January 6th at 1 p.m. The tickets for this should also be gone quickly. So book quickly.
