These arbitrations confirm the disappearance of specific aid for organic farming for farmers already converted to this mode of production, a measure initiated in 2017. On the other hand, subsidies for conversion to organic have been raised to 340 million euros. per year.

A figure disputed by the ministry

Note that the figure of -66% of allocations for farmers already converted to organic is contested by the Ministry of Agriculture, which speaks of “disinformation”. The operators are especially raised against the alignment of their subsidies on those of the farms “high environmental quality”, qualified as “greenwashing” since the use of pesticides is tolerated there.
