There is hardly an award that Hugh Jackman has not yet won, and yet the actor, who turns 53 today, remains astonishingly humble.
Hugh Jackman grew up in Australia as one of five children of a British emigrant family. The actor had his big career breakthrough in 2000 as the superhero “Wolverine” in the “X-Men” film series directed by Bryan Singer.
In addition to his acting talent, Jackman, who lives in New York, also repeatedly demonstrated his outstanding talent as a singer. For example, he played leading roles in several award-winning musicals such as “The Boy from Oz” and “Les Misérables”.
As if that weren’t enough, Jackman, who is celebrating his 53rd birthday this Tuesday, was voted “Sexiest Man Alive” by the US magazine People 2008. The surprisingly humble-looking Jackman attributes a large part of these numerous successes to his daily meditation.
